Asterix is a high drive Malinois being trained for narcotics detection. He is being trained using the "On Target" method by trainer Michael Breton, a certified On Target trainer. Asterix is trained on cocaine, heroin, marijuana and methamphetamine. He has an active, but non-destructive alert that could still be converted to a passive alert if desired. Asterix is absolutley obedient to odor as can be seen in his video. Watch how he ignores a ball he is the middle of chasing and head turns to the box with the training aid in it. It happens around 3:48 into the video.

He is just starting protection work and has done work mainly on the bite suit. He will bite legs, back and armpit and is handling decoy pressure well.
